Question
I have no idea what my sitting hr is but when I am working out it reaches 189 and stays there most of the time. I do not know why it is that high and if it is dangerous. What happens when your hearrate is that high, does it burn more calories? I just don't get it.
Answer
If you have a concern about your heart rate being too high and staying there the entire time you workout, I would highly recommend that you see a physician who can monitor your heartrate during and after your workout.
